Shortly after the 2020 season commenced the Covid-19 lockdowns struck and the railway closed down.  This naturally had an effect on progress made on the site, and the season did not start again until later in the year, and then only to a limited timetable.  Despite this there was progress made on the site as illustrated in this selection of views from 2020 and 2021 showing work in the car park, tiling of the fire surround in the waiting room, model railway developments, painting of the fencing and gates on the approach road, installation and painting of the safety fence around the windlass, and work undertaken on the flat roof of the toilets by the Department of Infrastructure.
